Last Friday I got to help out in Lucas's class during their Easter party and Easter-egg hunt. It was fun to watch him with his friends. The following are a couple of his best friends. According to his teachers he and his girl-friend (not in the 'girlfriend' sense of the word- oh, please no!) pretty much play non-stop together. We certainly do hear a lot about her. He doesn't begrude her the fact that she is taller than him, can jump higher than him and can run faster than him so they must be good friends.
The other morning we found two ducks checking out our pool. Lucas was eager to go shoot them so we could "fry them up like chickens". Who taught this boy to be so violent?!
This week is Spring Break for the kids. Sunday afternoon the McElwee's came down for a visit. We love those McElwee visits. Lucas and Drake hit the ground running and didn't stop until it was time to say good-bye.
On Tuesday evening the weather was just too nice to eat inside. I quickly packed a sandwich dinner and we headed down to the beach.
and because she is growing so fast, a couple pictures of my sugar baby...
Thank you, now I can stop checking YOUR blog : ) Just kidding, of course. I think we've already missed Mia's teeny tiny babyhood. We MUST make the end of May happen! Cute hat in that last picture, A-Megan.
What a fun evening out on the beach! Your kids must LOVE being so near the sand and water!!! We went through Oceanside a year ago, I didn't realize we were so close to your area. We loved that area, so we definately want to head that way again. Next time, we will let you know so we can get our kiddies together on the beach!
Thanks for your comment on my blog, that was fun to get! :-) Lucas sounds like my girls. They are constantly talking about hunting, cooking and eating different animals. Cracks me up!
Looks like you guys are having lots of fun and living life to the fullest as usual. :) Maybe you will inspire us to go to the beach every once in awhile... not like its that far for us!

What great pictures! I'm hoping that you're getting to enjoy time with G&G in the 'Hatch today.
Love you all!
I love that photo of Lucas sitting on his board in the water looking at the waves. It's great!
