A Tuesday Evening

Our video camera called it quits several months ago and we finally got a replacement about a month ago. I am so glad to have a video camera again but alas this also means we have video, which means it must be organized and stored, which means more shtuff to do on the computer. We also got Adobe Premiere to edit the video which means new software to learn, which means much frustration and vexation of spirit. But enough complaining. Here is a video of a Tuesday evening in September. There is no editing and some issues with focusing and for some reason the quality is really poor BUT I did add some jazzy Caribbean music to distract you. PS.. the water has turned cold for the winter so we will be giving beach post a break for awhile. Your welcome.

Mia and Caroline are sisters with the sand! She eats the sand with as much as Caroline used to (and still does). Nathan has a cute dive behind Lucas after that last push off : ) And you will have to call and have a loooooong convo with your brother about your new vid-cam since he's stressing about whether we should get a new one or pay the big bucks to buy a new charger cord to make our old one usable again...

Poor Mia - thats almost as bad as walking outside and finding Uncle Dan eating dog food when he was little!! Yummy!!

Megan it acts like maybe the the focus is on manual and not auto - did you happen to check that?

What a great surfer Lucas is!! Eww is what I thought of with the sand. How crunchy that must of been! Does Mia have teeth yet? When Lauren ate sand at about that age it all came through in her diaper which didn't feel too good! Cute music!

Lucas, you make surfing look easy! Didn't realize you can handle the board so well. Hope sales pickup up so Mia doesn't have to eat sand!! -grandpa

Enjoyed that awesome surfer boy! Jilly is getting braver, but I gag at all those germs in Mia's mouth!

And you stood there letting her eat sand while you took her picture......yuck!!! She didn't seem to mind too much.... And, Wow, Lucas, I am impressed at how well you surf. Way to go! Jilly you are a darling.

Aunt Alice, you mean I should stop her? :) I eventually did. Btw takes less then 24hrs to "process" sand.
Glenda, the video is on our Canon camera so the focus is a little strange. That was the auto focus. I think I've got it figured out a little better now, maybe. ;)

Way to go Lucas! There is something to be said about learning to surf when you're young. It doesn't work so well when you try when you're in your 20's (which is still young, but a different young). And the girls are darling, even if one eats sand!
