Pictures from the last few weeks.
Sometime back we had friends over to eat lunch and play.

Blowing bubbles!
Lots of bubbles!
We have a thumb sucker! I think.
Not last weekend but the weekend before was the Sunday School Treat. Jill and Lucas both learned "I am" verses. Jill's sign is the "I" but she didn't quite hold it as I had planned. This was Jill's first time saying verses. She did a great job saying her first verse and then beat it off the stage. I guess she didn't want to mess with success and go for both of them.
I am the door, by me if any man enter in he shall be saved. John 10:9
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. John 10:11
I am the way the truth and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me. John 8:12
I am the light of the world. He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life. John 14:6
I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me and I in him the same bringth forth much fruit. John 15:5

Our Sunday School treat is this Saturday and I am kind of nervous to see how my class does! I loved the thumb sucking photo, it's so cute! Why does it look like Lucas is cutting into a huge square piece of ham with scissors in the corner of your salad making photo? What is that? :)
How sweet of your two oldest to make you a meal! They must see how very busy you are and wanted to help out! What a loving gesture! It is fun to see Amelia in some of your pics, they must not be too far away.
Are those scissors in his hands? Ezra's got an uncanny way of finding the razor blade we used to cut into all the boxes...maybe those two shouldn't be allowed to play together without an adult present.
what's a boy to do when he can't use a knife? Yes, part of what thrilled me was seeing my ham getting cut by the junk drawer scissors. I guess it was a chef's salad?
Amy, the Adkins live about a hour north of us.
Oh, Megan, the salad picture makes me laugh and laugh and laugh! They were doing something special just for you! Were you able to eat the salad? I guess your kids know that your floors are so clean that you can eat off them! And good job, kids on your choice of ingredients! Cohorts in crime... oh this picture makes me laugh...
Tehachapi Grandma
Pleased, huh? Is that something like being pleased when they draw a picture for mommy ... on the wall? I'm not sure that you'll actually MISS those things in a few years ... ;-)
But the thoughtfulness is something that we can hope sticks, right? :-)
I love the pic of the "sis-toys"!
Great post....loved the salad pics! And the thumb photo...at least she can't lose the thumb! Lucas was fishing the way they have to at the AF Dam. Pitch the line over the fence! He's ready for Grandpa to take him fishing down there! Come and see us!
I'm in Boise visiting J & C so shared your blog with C. we got a good laugh from the "floor" salad. Those moments pass so quickly, I am glad you got pictures! Mia has such kissable cheeks.
