Bike Adventure

Today Daddy and the kids packed a lunch and went on an "adventure". This means different things at different times. Lately, it means a bike ride to the "wilderness" surrounding the lagoon by our house. They always return with smiles, dirty faces, and many a story. As Lucas was recounting a few, he threw in this bit of insight into the mind of a five-year-old.

"One of the things I love about going for a bike ride is that it is so peaceful..."

(Mamma's heart skips a beat...My boy may grow up to not be a wild little beast afterall!)

" ...you can burp and you don't even hafta say excuse me because noone else is around."

(drat)

Here are some picture of their time, without sound.

Sometimes I'm glad Ezra isn't close enough to learn alllll Lucas's tricks from him : ) You are one brave little lad, Lucas! I wish we could come ride bikes and watch you! Caroline would love to run around with Jilly,

That bike adventure looked like great fun. Is there anything Lucas can't do???! It would have been fun to run around with Jill.....much better than running in this snow!
