Sorry for the lack of posts. I've either been too busy or just not feeling like it!
Well, we are officially in our new home and slowly, oh so slowly, getting settled. Looking back we can see how the Lord really worked everything out so smoothly. Our good friend Wendy took the kids all day on moving day and showed them a great time - what a life saver! The construction got done to the point that we really needed it too and somehow all of our stuff eventually made its way over.
Here is a picture of the new almost-completed-except-for-touch-up-paint stairs.

Every 4th of July our new neighborhood does a parade. All of the kids decorate their bikes, trikes, wagons or whatever and parade through the neighborhood before having a little party of snacks, face-painting, races, etc. I thought we would just beg out this year seeings how we were leaving for a trip in a few hours and were having cabinets installed that day but Daddy didn't want the kids to miss out so he decorated the wagon and Lucas' bike and they joined the crowd (I realize that this picture makes it seem like they were the only ones in the parade but actually there were probably 50 kids or so). Of course they had a great time-thanks Dad! The rest of the day, Jill kept saying "happy 4th!".

So shortly after the parade we headed up to Portland for Clint and Sara's wedding where Lucas had the honor of being the ring bearer - albeit bearer of fake rings (he couldn't quite understand why he couldn't take care of the real ones). Early on he wasn't sure that was something he wanted to do but as the time drew nearer and he found out he got to wear a suit he started warming to the idea. At the rehearsal, he couldn't stop smiling and after the wedding he wanted to do it all over again.

All dressed up and I can't get a good picture of the two of them. Grrrr.

Keira, one of the sweet little flower girls.

Lucas and his buddy Clint.

Amelia! Your just so cute!!!

After the wedding, we headed up to Seattle to visit Ezra and Caroline...oh yeah and Tadd and Brooke. The kids all had a great time playing with the cousins. It was fun catching up and just relaxing, not to mention the non stop home cooked meals -thanks again, Brooke. Unfortunately, our visit went way too fast.

Ezra mastered his bike while we were there.

The boys, being boys and Jill playing quietly by the side. Sounds about right.

Precious little girl!

P.S. I loved the verse you put on Ashley's blog. It's a good one to memorize and think of often. Thanks.
Sounds like a fun and crazy time at the millers! Can't wait to see pics of the house - it looks adorable!
How are you feeling?

Hello again!
Glad to hear that you are starting to feel better. This has been the most uneventful pregnancy, that is up to this point, I have felt totally normal -I was thankful for that - I had one day where I fet absolutely terrible. But other than that I cannot complain one bit. The bed rest has been a minor inconvenience - but the girls and i are going to go home tonight (we've been staying with my parents) - so it will be nice to be home and with Flavio and get back to our normal routines!
Keep me posted on your pregnancy and all that is going on. Are you guys finding out what you are having? We like to be surprised until the end . . .who knows what God has in store for us, but can't wait to find out!
Talk to you soon.
~Michelle
