My Baby Girl is 2!

Our little Jilly turned 2 last week!

On the Saturday before her birthday, Nathan and Natalie came down to help us with house stuff (we are scheduled to close escrow tomorrow!! :o) and since Miss Amelia was with us we decided to throw Jill a birthday party. Ethan and his new brother Holden, Molly, Amelia, and their parents plus Wendy and Joanna joined us for pizza and cupcakes. When everyone sang "Happy Birthday", Jill got all shy and just started intently at her cupcake. Now when you ask her about her birthday it is all about the cupcakes, candles and singing. On her actual birthday, our neighborhood friends, Cameron, "Bo", and "John John" came over to turn dinner into another party. And then if two parties weren't enough on Friday our good friends Scott and Lisa Mills came with their two girls and we all went to Sea World on Saturday! Too much fun!

Yes. She was very close to eating the flames.

Lucas looking very cool, in his 3D glasses.
Going to get the mail with new doll, stroller & hat! Jill's new ride.

Trip to Idaho

Trip to Idaho

We got back from a week long trip to Idaho on Monday night. We had a great time being with family, playing in SNOW and pinching sweet baby C's chunky thighs!

We had an open house at my parents house to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary and their 60th and 65th birthdays. Since growing up it was tradition in our house to have waffles and ice cream with berry sauce for Saturday morning breakfast, that was our menu....mmmmm!

L and J had a great time with their cousins. Miss E. and Grandpa drove us down to the Salt Lake City airport. E and L were so sad to part. They were so sweet to each other, holding hands and promising to buy each other all sorts of wonderful things like skittles and whole packs of bubble gum. They kept saying things like, "I just love you so much! This is such a bummer! Your my best friend and my heart is just so sad!" Oh, if only they had realized this on the first day we were there and always treated each other accordingly.
