We got back from a week long trip to Idaho on Monday night. We had a great time being with family, playing in SNOW and pinching sweet baby C's chunky thighs!
We had an open house at my parents house to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary and their 60th and 65th birthdays. Since growing up it was tradition in our house to have waffles and ice cream with berry sauce for Saturday morning breakfast, that was our menu....mmmmm!
L and J had a great time with their cousins. Miss E. and Grandpa drove us down to the Salt Lake City airport. E and L were so sad to part. They were so sweet to each other, holding hands and promising to buy each other all sorts of wonderful things like skittles and whole packs of bubble gum. They kept saying things like, "I just love you so much! This is such a bummer! Your my best friend and my heart is just so sad!" Oh, if only they had realized this on the first day we were there and always treated each other accordingly.

Friends and some friendly advice
While I was downloading and organizing pictures from the last couple of weeks this morning, I was reminded of the many fun times we have had with friends recently. Here are some pictures of times to be thankful for...

Jilly trying on her Sunday hat.
Lucas reciting his verse at the Sunday School Treat.
"The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trump of God: And the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." I Thessalonians 4:16, 17
The next week our good friends Heath and Abby came for a quick visit with their 3 children: Drake, Addison & Knox.
Last weekend we got to have the Peel's & the Adkin's spent Saturday afternoon with us. Talk about a house full of sweet baby girls!
