Pictures for Daddy

Lucas built this cool tower by himself and didn't want it to get knocked down until Daddy got home Thursday night. Since the likelyhood of that working out was very slim, we decided to take a picture of it for him instead.


We took a bike ride down to the beach today and took another picture for Daddy.

Besides gathering an impressive collection of little white shells (they were everywhere!), I got an earful from a Jehovah's Witness who was handing out tracks. It was an interesting and sad discussion. Of course I thought of everything I should have said later. It was a good reminder to me of the importance of knowing the Bible better. My inability to show her the verses that speak about doctrine I know to be true, was a lost opportunity for the power of God's Word to work in her soul.

That good ice cream!

Jill was feeling good last night. Her evening started out with her opening up the cupboard that holds the cereal and finding a new kind sitting there. If you didn't know, Jill LOVES cereal. She let out a squeal and said "OOO...what's this!" She immediately requested a taste so we all had some delicious cereal for our dinner. To round out our nutritious meal, we had ice cream bars for dessert. After the first lick Jill enthusiastically said, "Mmm, that good ice cream!" and after every few bits she would stop and repeat, "That good ice cream!". When she was done, she looked down and with surprise in her voice said, "uh-oh, I pilled!". That was an understatement. I love almost 2 year olds!
